Speak Up Campaign

This campaign concept was created to raise awareness and get people to speak up about domestic violence. "Speak up" is all about boosting confidence and taking action as a bystander, friend, or even family member. The target audience is reached through encouraging, welcoming imagery, making the campaign more approachable rather than aggressive. As this audience typically wants to help but lacks the confidence to do so, this campaign speaks to them and empowers their collective voice.
The design of the campaign's slogan further amplifies bystander voices in numerous ways. Using lips as a container for the text embraces femininity and expands on the community of other women and victims. With the main colours being variations of purple for this campaign, which is specific to official domestic violence awareness month, it is only right that this was chosen.
